elastic tissuehol

elastic tissue strong extensible flexible *connective tissue rich in yellow elastic fibres. These are long, thin and branching and are composed primarily of an albumin-like protein, elastin. Elastic tissue is found in the dermis of the skin, in arterial walls, and in the walls of the alveoli of the lungs.
