imipramine

imipramine n. a drug administered by mouth or injection to treat depression (see antidepressant). Its effects may be slow to develop; common side-effects include dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, sweating, and rapid heart beat. Trade names: Berkomine, Dimipressin, Tofranil.
