kaposi's sarcoma

kaposi's sarcoma a malignant tumour usually arising in the skin. it is common in Africa but rare in the western world, except in patiens with *AIDS. The tumour evolves slowly; radiotherrapy is the treatment of choice but chemotherapy may be of value in metastatic disease.
