Definition keratosis (keratoma)
- keratosis (keratoma) n. nay horny growth of the skin. There are two common types. Actinic keratosis ia a well-defined red or skin-coloured warty growth, usually occurring in middle or old age, caused by overexposure to the sun. Seborrhoeic keratosis (or warts ) are yellow or brown oval spots with clearly marked perimeters and raised surfaces, developing in middle age.
